WHAT TO EXPECT

We would love to see you at our next gathering. Our Sunday services begin at 10:30 AM and usually last about 80-90 minutes.

WORSHIP

We begin our services with our worship team leading the congregation in singing. Our music style is blended, ranging from acoustic instrumentation to traditional hymns and contemporary praise songs. We invite you to join in as we praise God through singing by following the on-screen lyrics. Either before or after the lesson a member of the congregation will share some thoughts and then lead us in prayer as we take part in communion. This helps keep us focused on the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection. Those who consider The Southwestern International Church of Christ their home will then be given the opportunity to worship with their finances by giving back a portion to God via the offering. You as a guest should feel no pressure to take part in this.

TEACHING

You will hear a lesson from our lead evangelist Aaron Salazar, a guest speaker, or a member of our congregation . Our teaching is focused on taking the deep truths of the Bible and explaining them in a manner that makes sense and can be applied with practical application today. The lessons are usually 30-45 minutes. Listen to recent sermons here.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We want you to feel comfortable. You will see a range of dress, from business casual to jeans and T-shirts, and even a few suits or dresses. Our goal is to give praise to and learn more about God in an authentic manner. BE YOURSELF!

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

During our service, we offer special programming for children, from six months old up to eighth grade. We call this Kingdom Kids. Your children will learn the truth about who God is and who they are because of Him through age-specific lessons and trusted adult leadership. Give yourself a few extra minutes to get them checked in. Our high school students stay with us in service.
