James 1:27

27 La religión pura y sin mancha delante de Dios nuestro Padre es ésta: atender a los huérfanos y a las viudas en sus aflicciones, y conservarse limpio de la corrupción del mundo.
Santiago 1:27

Rescue Mission
1949 West Paisano
El Paso, TX  79922
Director: Blake Barrow (915-577-9119)

The Rescue Mission gives the homeless a place where they can learn to help themselves. They provide food, clothing, and shelter to men, women and children. They introduce their guests to a counselor who provides words of encouragement and direction for their lives.

The Rescue Mission is always looking for volunteers to help serve meals to the over 750 homeless they feed each day.  Well-behaved children of any age are welcome to help serve.  We suggest that any individual or group who wishes to volunteer at the Rescue Mission on any day call the Mission first just to verify that they can use help that day before they go there.  Of course, persons participating in church-planned projects at the Rescue Mission don't need to call.  If a group wants to help, they need to call the Siffords for more information or they can call Bill Cox of the Rescue Mission at 915-532-2575 to schedule a time.
